summer shoes & a new app!

Aren't these the cutest hot pink for shoes for summer for a cute little girl?
She sure thinks so :)

I'm actually planning on working a few hours today at school!
It always seems odd to work during the summer when
there aren't any students in attendance!
I find the silence peaceful and pleasant, yet a little bizarre
(aren't the halls supposed to be filled with the noises of active children?!)

Professionally my plan for today is to:
1. start going through health records from the feeder schools.
2. mail home any necessary letters regarding health follow up.
3. return any phone calls.
4. print any immunization record requests
and last, but not least...
5. make another list of things I want to do the next time I work!

Personally I need to come up with something inexpensive for Father's Day!
I'm thinking about using my new favorite phone app...

This is the best!
You can actually print pictures directly from your phone to a local Walgreen's store!
I haven't actually tried it yet, but I want to and why not for Father's Day.
The option that looks the most exciting is you can pick from "odd" size pictures...
4x4, 8x8 and then your typical 4x6, 5x7, and even 8x10!

You can always enhance your favorite phone photo with another app,
then save to your camera roll, and then print the edited picture through Printicular!

Printicular...I'm willing to give it a try!

(and I'm not receiving any compensation for typing this post :)

Have you used it yet?

What did you think?

I would love to hear about what you printed!

We went to the zoo (for free)!

I like to do a few fun things with my kids during the summer months!
Today, my mom and I visited our local zoo with the girls!
Turns out the weather was perfect!  I was worried because it was raining early this morning!
However, by mid morning the sun was shining.
We enjoyed walking through the zoo and even enjoyed a picnic lunch!
Oh, and by the way.... I learned that a fitted twin sheet fits perfect on top of a picnic table!
Doesn't that seem like a tip you would find on Pinterest?
To make it even better... it was free day at our local zoo!
Evidently 2 days a month are free days (donations only).
These days aren't published, but I found out if you call on
the first of the month the staff will tell you when the days are scheduled!
Does your local zoo offer the same deal?
You should call and find out :)
Remember me telling you photography is one of my hobbies?
Well, it is :)
Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day!
